The Loveliest Spring Wedding Ideas
Wedding season is upon us, and we’re so excited to see all of the incredible events upcoming spring and summer brides are planning! We love spring weddings because everything is so fresh and new, with Mother Nature springing back to life with all kinds of greenery and flowers in gorgeous colors that you can use to decorate your nuptials. Because of all that, it’s basically the season made for weddings and celebrating a new stage of life.
If you recently got engaged and are planning a spring ceremony, we’ve got some great inspiration for you! We’ve chosen some of our absolute favorite ideas for spring weddings, so check them out below:
Muted Invitations with Spring-Inspired Details
Just because spring is all about color and vibrance, doesn’t mean that everything in your wedding has to be dripping in the season’s signature pastel hues. We love how understated and refined these muted invitations look, and they still emulate spring with floral sketches and a precious, pink ribbon!

Lacey, Floral Wedding Dress
Take a cue from Mother Nature and incorporate floral motifs into your wedding dress for a wedding day outfit that truly screams it’s spring! This fitted wedding dress features a romantic, floral lace that will look so gorgeous among all of the other florals you will inevitably incorporate into your spring wedding ceremony! Read our post about spring wedding dresses to see even more beautiful options.
Lush, Wildflower Bouquet
Spring is the season of flowers, so it makes perfect sense to have a totally over-the-top bouquet bursting with all kinds of flowers and foliage native to the season. We love the idea of giving your bouquet a hand-picked look that makes it seem like you gathered all of the flowers yourself- so sweet!

A Ceremony Featuring Plenty of Florals
Again, flowers are a huge theme for spring weddings, so your ceremony is a great place to add a lot of them. If you’re going for a wedding with a more rustic and natural feel, then having an outdoor venue with aisles overgrown with spring grasses and flowers would be such an amazing look! You can also add some clean, modern details to your spring ceremony with a backdrop featuring billowing curtains and dainty strands of flowers that would create a lovely photo op!

Flowing, Pastel Bridesmaids Dresses
While summer calls for vibrant, joyous colors, and fall and winter feature more rich, jewel tones, spring is all about the floral-inspired pastels! Powder blues, and beautiful blush would complement a spring ceremony beautifully, and loose, flowing silhouettes would match the whimsy of the season.
Adorable Animals Dressed in Spring Flowers
Baby animals are another iconic symbol of spring, so why not include them in your wedding festivities? A petting zoo would be such a fun and cute attraction for all of the children at the wedding, and you can even dress the animals up with floral accessories that match the rest of your wedding flowers, so they add to the spring atmosphere!

Fresh Floral Escort Cards
Help your guests find their tables in an unforgettable way with escort cards attached to fresh flowers that they can keep! Not only would the flowers look beautiful, but this idea would also be simple to create on your own, so you can save some cash!

Beautiful, Botanical Archway
Honestly, you just can never have enough flowers at a spring wedding, so we love the idea of adorning the doorway leading to your reception in an archway of fragrant florals that will smell as good as they look! Plus, it would be a great place for your guests to take photos, so they will remember your wedding for years to come!

Vibrant, Spring-Inspired Cocktails
Add some spring flavor to your cocktails by using fruits that are in-season to create your signature drinks. If you’re going for that rustic theme, then putting them in little mason jars is an adorable idea! We also love the idea of adding flowers to your drinks because, as we said before, you can never have too many flowers at a spring wedding!

Seed Packet Favors
If you’re as flower-obsessed as we are, then you might even want to give out a flower-themed favor to your wedding guests! One creative idea would be to give your guests little packets of seeds with a custom label so that they have an interactive memory of your wedding that they won’t soon forget!

Pretty, Pink Table Decor
Add the iconic pastel pink of spring to your wedding reception tables with floral decor that will blow everyone away! Flowers hanging upside-down over the table create an unexpected and unforgettable centerpiece, while adding some cherry blossom branches into vases is a cost-effective way to make a big statement!

Edible Flower Wedding Cakes
On these blooming cakes, the flowers will taste as good as they look! Add even more flowery details to your wedding with cakes featuring florals you can eat in the form of edible flower petals, or breathtaking flowers sculpted form sugar and fondant.
